There are five basic levels of coverage offered by Ford ESP plans. These levels of coverage, shown in order from good to best, are listed below. Each level of coverage is available on every Ford vehicle. All plans take effect when your manufacturer's warranty expires.

	QualityCARE Maintenance Protection Plan
	Ford ESP QualityCARE Maintenance Protection Plan (QCMPP) covers a comprehensive list of manufacturer-recommended scheduled maintenance items (oil changes, etc.) QCMPP gives you the security of knowing that your vehicle is getting the proper maintenance when it needs it.

	PowertrainCARE – 29 Components covered
	Ford ESP PowertrainCARE is the foundation for all new vehicle component plans. If you want the advantages of a Ford ESP, but only want major mechanical component protection due to budget or other reasons, this is your recommended plan.

	BaseCARE – 84 Components covered
	Ford ESP BaseCARE is the next step up in coverage from Ford ESP PowertrainCARE, offering a broader range of component protection. It's for those who want basic, yet thorough, extended service plan coverage.

	ExtraCARE – 113 Components covered
	Ford ESP ExtraCare provides additional component protection to the BaseCare plan and includes many high-tech items. If you want the advantages of Ford ESP and the security of more comprehensive protection, this is the plan for you.

	PremiumCARE – 500+ Components covered
	Ford ESP PremiumCARE provides our ultimate coverage. This plan is so complete that we generally only discuss what's not covered! This is the plan for you if you want the advantages of a Ford ESP with our maximum component protection and high-tech coverage.

All of the coverage levels are available on a menu from 3 years / 50,000 miles to 5 years / 250,000 miles on the Acterra and the 7500 and 8500 series.

The coverage levels available for the Sterling L and A Series, and for Western Star trucks are from 2 years / 200,000 miles to 5 years / 500,000 miles.
